15. New Product introduction
Demand Planners occasionally need to add new
products to the product assortment, and are responsible
for ensuring these items are populated in Demantra as
well as receive a statistical forecast. Demantra requires
an item-location combination before any forecast can be
entered/generated against these items. Creating item-
location combination in Demantra can be tricky and time
consuming. TDDM provides a quick way to create the
combinations and hierarchy validation, thus reducing the
time required to setup NPIs in the system.

16. Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP)
• The S&OP dashboard of TDDM user interface
is simple, easy to use and more sophisticated
as compared to Demantra S&OP reports.
TDDM S&OP dashboard displays data which
is required across multiple functions including
demand planning, supply planning, finance,
sales, and marketing. The purpose of the
dashboards is to provide the stakeholders with
a single, shared view of the data to help make
them an informed decision and determining
the balance between supply and demand.
