The document discusses social media and envisions a future "social OS". It notes that different social media channels have different purposes and moods. It also discusses how current location-based apps on smartphones do not fully integrate. The presentation envisions a future where social interactions are more participatory, conversations are interconnected across platforms, and the "internet of things" leads to the end of isolated social networks in favor of a more comprehensive "social OS".

I am driving to Lebanon for a weekend of fun with friends. We head to the Jordanian/Syrian border, faced with 12 booths , we park in line. The officer takes our passports, scans them, and automatically updates the electronic pass system. Same at the Syrian border. We head our way, and someone is hungry, Siri tells us where/when is the upcoming fast food restaurant. We stop for a quick breakfast.
We check-in at Foursqure and it updates Glympse of where we are. Our friend in Damascus is notified so she can see our progress on a map and when will we reach her so she joins us to Beirut. We reach Syrian/Lebanese borders, same like before, we leave in 15 min. We continue driving to Beirut, we check with waze to see driving/traffic conditions up on the mountains. All good. We relax and drive.
