Whilst Tommy Scott and the Senators where
playing at a working men’s club, Jones was
picked up by Gordon Mills (above). Mills
became Toms manager and took the young
singer to London to become a solo singer.

Tom let out a series of hits including;
Whats New Pussycat, Thunderball, Green
Green Grass Of Home, Help Yourself and
Delilah.
Toms first performance at the
Flamingo club, his image has
changed to tight trousers and half
unbuttoned shirts attracted a
knickers throwing frenzy.

5. Tom started an internationally
successful TV show, was both
broadcasted by ITV in UK and ABC in
America.
Sadly and suddenly Gordon Mills
passed away. This gave Mark
(Jones’ son) a chance and he
quickly became his personal
manager and released ‘A boy from
nowhere’
