Notes de l'éditeur
This website was chosen because I personally like to use it to review math. It is a fun way to approach math because it is not a standard listen and learn approach. I really like to see all the bright colors as well. It is simple to read and that can make it more interesting for students to comprehend the information.
The IXL website is another good math resource for the classroom because its used all around the world by teachers, parent, and students alike. It is a free website that is available for membership as well. I like that the skill lessons are based off of many grade levels and it is easy to navigate this site. It will be fun for students to engage in math because it provides a reward system for children when they complete lessons.
This is a great informative an d interactive website for history to be taught in the classroom. Games are always a plus in this generation that uses technology on a regular basis. Children will be able to remember their history from what they learn and engage in with this website.
Museums every where give a history as well as art lesson. If students are unable to attend a field trip to a museum they can discover it online. I choose the New York museum because they offer so many things to learn and it includes galleries. When students are able to see pictures to what they have read they can easily visualize it later and remember it for assessments.
The incredible art department was chosen because it offers a lot of information for teachers, parents and students. It was a very organized website as well, which makes it much easier to navigate and find specific topics. If students were to use this website I would expect them to have fun and explore the world of art and express what they find interesting.
This website is more for beginner inspiring musicians. Students will be able to find out about all different types of instruments. This website has opened my eyes because I have never played music and it has showed me what they sound like in an interactive way. Sphinx Kids will give students a fun and informative information about music.
Funology is a website loaded with fun and interesting science projects and experiments. The color and animations helped my decision for choosing this website. Once I continued to explore the site I loved it even more. Students should see how science has a huge impact in our daily lives.
The ology website provides a wide variety of topics to explore, is very vivid in color and draws interests to all because of the topics. Students will be able to have fun while learning about science through this website.
Spelling, reading, and writing is very important and used everyday. The greatest idea to me about this site is that students can input their spelling words and play games in order to learn them for exams they will have later for their class. Students can apply vocabulary in a fun and interesting way in order to study.
KidsHealth gives all types of information which can also be used for physical education classes. Teacher, parents, and students can easily navigate and discover many ways to live healthy. The website gives recipes and different ways to stay safe and much more. As a mother I use this website on a regular basis to help my children understand what it means to be healthy.
This is the best website for students who are learning letters and learning how to read. I have personally used this website for my children as well. I titled this slide as special education and reading because it is simple enough to use with students who have difficulty with learning regardless physical disabilities. The videos, songs, and press to play stories really help engage the student to learn.
In the Spanish classroom, there were not too many websites that were free to choose from. I decided on onlinefreespanish.com because it spoke slowly for new learners to easily comprehend.
National Geographic's is another great site to love. The videos are great for students to learn from. There are always new updates and new shows and movies to discover. Students should be able to write reports after viewing this website.
Keyboarding always needs a good program. A free program makes it even more worth wild. I trusted this site because of the lessons provided from beginning to advanced. It offers tips and advice which is surely a plus in the classroom.
The science interactive Body gives an interesting way to study the human body in regard to muscles, bones, and organs. It was more of a study website than fun, but it can help students with tests they may have in class.
