• A machine is something we use to make
work easier.We can classify machines as
simple machines or complex
machines.Simple machines have a few
movig parts.Complex machines are made
up of different simple machines.All
machines use energy,but many complex
machines need electrical energy to work

• A pulley uses a wheel and a rope to lift or
lower an object.

5. INCLINED PLANE
• An inclined plane moves objects up or
down.

6. SCREW
• A screw holds things together or lift
objects

7. WHEEL AND AXLE
• A wheel turns around an axle .We use it to
move or lift an object

8. WEDGE
• We use a wedge to cut objects.

9. LEVER
• A lever is a rigid bar with a fulcrum we
use to lift or move objects
