3. C86 ALBUM (Cassette – 1986)
Released by the British Music Magazine NME (New Musical Express) in 1986. This
cassette featured new bands signed on British independent record labels. This was
made to reflect the new music scene for the time and is thought to be the
beginning of the indie pop genre.
