Bazaar Supermarket
New Delhi, India, November 24, 2014: Amira Foods Private
Limited, the Indian subsidiary of the NYSE-listed Amira
Nature Foods Ltd (NYSE:ANFI), today announced its tie-
up with Modern Bazaar Supermarkets, a leading modern
retail store chain in Delhi/NCR region. This tie-up is part
of Amira’s aggressive expansion plans in India to cater to
the rising demand for premium basmati rice among the
ever-growing aspirational middle class in the National
Capital region.
Under the partnership, Amira’s premium basmati rice
range will be available in all six stores of Modern Bazaar
operating across Delhi/NCR.

Modern Bazaar, a Delhi based retail chain, gave the first
flavour of retail freedom to the city when it opened its first
