The book that I chose:
Bowen, Tim. OpenMind Level 3. Editorial. MacMillan, Oxford, Año 2012, Pag. 126
I like this book because It has many activities for the different skills (listening, writing,
speaking, reading) and has a platform online where the students can practice the
language with audios, games, worksheet, videos, etc. this book is used in many
Universidades Tecnológicas with good results. This book is one based on competitions
therefore adapts to our modality of education and will give students a competitive
advantage by integrating real and relevant tasks that practice essential 21st century skills
such as critical thinking, organization, and collaboration. There is a skills section of each
unit of openMind, is unique and enriches the student's experience with the textbook. It's
also incredibly useful helping students to develop essential skills such as thinking,
problem-solving, organization and planning. Finally, it's a great change of pace for both the
students and the teacher.
The idea of having materials on the Internet has made all the students very happy since
they have found an interesting and enjoyable way of studying and reviewing their English
lessons.
