friends of the bridegroom mourn as

them, and then they will fast.

serves nothing.
• Isaiah 58:3 ‘Why have we fasted,
they say, and You have not seen?
Why have we afflicted our souls,
and You take no notice?’

c. The priority is to hear God’s voice
and ready to respond to it.
• Zechariah 7:13 ‘Therefore it
happened, that just as He
proclaimed and they would not
hear, so they called out and I would
not listen,’ says the LORD of hosts.

‘If My people who are called by My
name will humble themselves, and

• Fasting is an integral part of our
relationship and ministry unto
God.
