• Focus on long distance band-width
      • Build nation-wide OFC network of 45,000 Route KMs OFC
        connecting 4,000 stations using STM16/DWDM
      • 28,000 RKM of STM 16 network in place in multiple layers
        (Backbone Layer), Multiple Self healing rings with Multi
        service SDH systems
      • Edge (at 40-50 Kms PoP) of STM 4 and Access layer ( at
        every Station) of STM1 with Ethernet Interfaces
      • All station equipped with 155 Mbps BW& 10/100 Mbps
        ethernet ports
• DWDM 10500 KM implemented and another 12500 KM under
  implementation
• NGN based NLD network in 18 cities (15 Circles) implemented
  and another 36 cities under implementation
• Expansion of MPLS VPN Network from 40 cities to 81 cities.

Railtel’s Network & Plan • Focus on long distance band-width • Build nation-wide OFC network of 45,000 Route KMs OFC connecting 4,000 stations using STM16/DWDM • 28,000 RKM of STM 16 network in place in multiple layers (Backbone Layer), Multiple Self healing rings with Multi service SDH systems • Edge (at 40-50 Kms PoP) of STM 4 and Access layer ( at every Station) of STM1 with Ethernet Interfaces • All station equipped with 155 Mbps BW& 10/100 Mbps ethernet ports • DWDM 10500 KM implemented and another 12500 KM under implementation • NGN based NLD network in 18 cities (15 Circles) implemented and another 36 cities under implementation • Expansion of MPLS VPN Network from 40 cities to 81 cities. • Local Access Network (OFC/WiFi/WiMAX) in 150+ cities • Managed Telecom Services on Railway towers
