The media distribution I chose to distribute my media product was: Worldwide Magazine
distribution.

I choose the Worldwide Magazine Distribution because with titles to complement all of Britain’s
200,000 niche and specialist retailers’ unique service and range offering, their main clients include
music stores, gaming stores, garden centres, vintners, chandlers, model shops and equestrian
centres making it a good distributor for my Music magazine.
The WWMD is co-owned by Smiths News and Menzies Distribution; they serve over 5000 outlets
with magazines every month. Clients use their expertise and buying power in transport and logistics
for the direct supply of products to businesses across the UK and Internationally.
What would WWMD be able to do for me?
They would be able to, as a publisher, include collecting the magazines from the printer (if
necessary) Also the packing and distributing of the magazines. (This involves the invoicing and credit
control to retail). They would supply sales reports and information via industry standard data
transfer, this also includes ABC compliance.

Internationally
The WWMB is also international and caters for every market and need, they have customers in over
30 countries.
If I used them for distribution customers would be able to search internationally for my magazine,
giving it a bigger audience as they source magazines to and from all over the globe, for both best
sellers and niche titles. They offer a sale or return facility and allow the publishers to take 25% of the
cover price in royalties.
