2. WROCLAW CAREER EXPO 2012
JOB FAIR NEW DIMENSION
The Company Career EXPO Poland ( and simultaneously the job
fairs Wroclaw Career EXPO) was officially founded on 1 June 2012.
It was for us extremely intensive half-year, filled with hard work,
negotiations, consistently implemented plans, as well as
implementation of the new ones, often risky ideas. For several
years, we have been watching polish and foreign market - a lot of
unused golden opportunities and so many mistakes had been
a pretext to introduce something new and fresh to the job fair
segment. The event like Wroclaw Career EXPO. This happening is
in many ways different from the other trades. One of the most
important changes was the way out of the campuses’ area to
a neutral object<bez przecinka> which had to influence (and in
fact influenced) on the diversity profile of visitors. According to
statistics, Wroclaw Career EXPO was visited by approximately
70% of students and just-graduates, but also about 30% of
professionals who had already gained their work experience.
Another innovation that we have introduced - a need for
registration - was supposed to be a perfect remedy for the casual
visitors – with a full consciousness we can say that anyone who
visited the exhibition on November 14 knew what they are and how
should they be prepared for them. At the same time we
established the exact number of registered participants - 3007.
This fact gives us a strong basis for planning another events and
performing reliable statistics. We have also a possibility to have
contact with every single participant which gives us a brand new
opportunities and challenges in the future. We are very proud of
the fact that we have won the trust of both visitors and businesses,
and that our event resulted in mutual satisfaction. Above all, we
are pleased that the success that we have achieved gives us
a strong basis for continuous improvement and making the
Wroclaw Career EXPO in the near future - we are sure of that- will
become the market leader in job fairs. The only one which has
a positive effect on the competitiveness of similar events and sets
the highest quality standards. The next edition is scheduled for
9 April 2013. As a result of the fact that the event has become quite
popular we will also change its location - it will be hold in the main
building of the Centennial Hall.

6. PROMOTION
MEDIA RELATIONS and E-PR
Skillfully and consistently maintained dialogue with the
media is one of the most effective promotion tools. For the
purposes of promotion of Wroclaw Career EXPO we were in
constant contact with approximately 500 journalists from
more than 200 editors from the Lower Silesia and the entire
Poland. Press releases about the event were delivered
regularly, which resulted in numerous publications, mainly
in the local and student media. We cooperated closely with
seventeen media (Gazeta Wroclawska, Biznes Dolnoslaski,
Eurostudent, HRStandard, Employer Branding Institute,
GoldenLine,Pracuj.pl, QBusiness.pl, DlaStudenta.pl,
Kluczdokariery.pl, Students.pl, StudentNews.pl, ESKA, AMS,
Te l e w i z j a D o l n o s l a s k a T E D E , K a m p u s T V ,
KarierawFinansach.pl), giving most of them the title of our
Media Partner. Their task was greater involvement in the
promotion, such as placing banners on their websites,
sending newsletters containing information about Wroclaw
Career EXPO, or publishing dedicated graphics.
105
The total number of those
90 publications in the media was
more than 200, including:
105 - mentions on the Internet
90 - radio emissions
5 - mentions in the press
5 2 2 - reports in the television The list of all the publications can be found
7. Due to activities on the Internet in a few months <bez
‘around’> Wroclaw Career EXPO began to create large,
engaged community of young and ambitious people. Every
day we dialogue with them throught a few social media
channels. In less than four months our Facebook profile
liked nearly 1300 people, a group of dozens of experts keeps
our actions on GoldenLine, we do not resign even from a bit
less popular in Poland: Twitter, Google Plus and LinkedIn.
Keeping interest in the event has also taken place in
student services and industry, as well as forums and
universities. A week before the event we launched a movie
promoting it, which at the same time started Wroclaw Career
Expo’s channel on Youtube. After a while it turned out that
one of the Internet users voluntarily developed their
individual concept for a movie that promotes our job fairs.
Both movies you can see on our channel:
