            CareerBuilder, LinkedIn.com’s jobs, and
company sites to research job descriptions.
Look at job descriptions even if those positions

            improve your resume.
Identify the buzzwords, key phrases, and re-
            appearing information. Does everyone mention
cross-functional teams? Include it on your
resume. Is there a particular software package
your industry mentions in every job
description? You need to know it, list it, and be
able to illustrate how you used it.

12 Steps to Be ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
            Optimized
Posted by Julie Calli on the 6figurejobs.com website

Most candidates don’t know what an Applicant Tracking
System (ATS) is and why they should care. However once
you understand what an ATS is, then you will certainly
agree that is important to make sure you are optimized
when submitting an application using one. The following is
6FigureJob’s 12-step guide for applying through an ATS to
improve your chances of being considered for a position.

                               1.  Read the job description.
This may sound obvious but you’d be surprised how
many people don’t do this completely.  The job
description will provide the information you
need to know whether you are qualified for this
            position or not.
