2. Hello! My name is Mary Mincer Hansen (Prof Hansen), and I am excited to be teaching this class And meeting all of you! I have been the director of the MPH Program. Before coming to DMU, I was an educator at another university and director of Iowa Department of Public Health under the cabinet of Governor Vilsack. I have been involved in global health for a number of years. I also am a member of Senator Harkin’s Health Care Advisory Committee addressing Health Care Reform. I am currently serving on an Institute of Medicine Committee making recommendations regarding public health, evaluation, laws and funding.
