  1. We are all in Sales and everyday we all sell something. Not many realize this. We think that our job and life has nothing to do with sales. In fact, in one way or another we all sell something. When we go to work we sell our abilities to our employer. How well we perform determines if we get promoted or how much raise we get. On a date, we sell ourselves to a potential spouse or partner. Sometimes we try to sell a particular activity or event that we wish to do or attend. The products or services we sell depends on what we are trying to accomplish. The product or service can be our abilities, our dreams, our company, our wants, our desires and almost anything.
  2. How well we understand sales will determine how much success we experience in a lot of thing we do. There are right ways and wrong ways. Some of the fundamentals are: Never over promise and under deliver Never misrepresent a product Always follow through Keep the lines on comunication open Most of the time, we never get a second chance to make a great first impression
  3. More fundamentals : There is a difference between being confident and being arrogant. The appearence of the product and the person is very important Learn when to stop talking and start listening. The customer may not always be right, but is not our job to make them always wrong Knowledge is power - the more we know the further we will go towards wisdom. Understand that we will not close every sale - sometimes it's not meant to be Understand these simple rules and we will experience success in works and sales.
