3. GOTHIC ART FROM 12TH TO 15TH CENTURY
 Long tunics
 Buttons appeared
 Women and men both wore underclothes
and upperclothes

4. RENEISSANCE
 King Matthias brought reneissance to Hungary
 Gowns spread
 Men wore tights
 Main colors were: orange, green, red, yellow

5.  People could see the differences in ranks in clothes too
 Nobles wore more colorful and decorative clothes.

6. 16TH TO 17TH CENTURY
 Clothes showed the rank of the family and the person’s
marital status
 Richer people wore colorful silks and furs

7. 19TH CENTURY
 English and French fashion were popular
 Women liked loose skirts, horseriding coats and
scarves
 Men liked tailcoats, shirts with collars and knee-
trousers

8. DECORATIVE HUNGARIAN CLOTHES(DÍSZMAGYAR)
 At this time it was a very popular costume. People wore it at
important events. The typical things in the traditional Hungarian
clothes were showed in these clothes, too

9. TRADITIONAL HUNGARIAN CLOTHES
