1. This is the original picture that I chose to practise Photoshop techniques
on. For this picture I used the polygonal lasso tool to crop out the out
lines of the car, I also feathered it to blur the out line to
get rid of the sharpness. I then opened another page with the same size
as the actual image and dragged it to get rid of the background.
I then decided to make it black and white therefore I desaturated the
colour but my image was very grey, so I
decided to alter with the brightness and contrast to get
the correct contrast and to create a blacker colour instead of grey. I
also used the hue and saturation to get a
more effective colour.
2. For this picture I mostly used the hue and saturation
to get a totally different colour to the actual
image to get an idea of the colour scheme. I also used the brightness and
contrast (I lowered the brightness to make it a bit
darker and jus added a bit more contrast).
I then went back to hue and saturation and
this time I used it to change the colour to a darker colour, I also used
the setting to take the blueness out and add a
bit of green. I lastly used the brightness and contrast
to give it more contrast and make it just a bit darker.
3. For this last image I exaggerated the colours a bit just to get the hand
of the brightness and contrast I also used the shadow
and highlight setting to get the windows black and the top
of the car a bit whiter, just to add shadows and highlights.
Over all I used 4-5 techniques such as:
-colour balance
-brightness and contrast
-Polygonal lasso and also crop tool
-Hue and saturation
-Desaturate
