1. Mandala Drawing Step-by-Step

2. 1. Fold a 9x9 square of paper in half.
2. Then fold it in half again forming a
smaller square.

3. 1. Open up the piece of paper, now fold it into a
triangle, then into a smaller triangle.
2. Open up the piece of paper
with a ruler and pencil draw very light lines over your
fold lines.

4. 1. Place a compass in the center where all the
lines meet.
2. Draw a circle as big as you can filling the
paper

5. 1. Draw at least 4 more circles in
the larger circle making them
different widths apart.

6. 1. In each of the sections draw different shapes using
the templates (* remember to repeat the same
shapes in the same section).
2. Go over the pencil lines with a fine tip felt tip pen.

7. 1. Following the techniques of
layering and variegating fill in the
shapes with coloured pencil.

8. 1. Cut out completed mandala and
glue onto a piece of posterboard

11. Mandalas can even be
asymmetrical.
