Our foray into Air Purification
We are pioneers and market leaders by far in air purification solutions starting our venture in India way back in 2008. The problem of pollution has been persisting for several decades and is worsening every day despite regular media coverage. The recurring instances of smog during winters in cities like Delhi and the extent of breathing problems in the society at large was the trigger for us to explore air purification.
Creating value by addressing a latent customer need
While there is general awareness about outdoor air pollution, Indoor Air Quality has been a latent need in the market. Given that an average individual spends nearly 3/4th of a day indoors and with increasing adoption of air conditioning, indoor air quality has a major impact on an individual’s health. Breathing air laden with suspended particulate matter, odorless gases of Nitrogen and Sulphur based compounds, infection carrying microbes and fine dust can have a severe short term and long term impact on health. To a large extent, the increasing prevalence of breathing problems is on account of this less understood impact of indoor air quality.
