  1. Pose this question to students.\nWhat is it?\nHave they had one?\nWhat sort of games do you play?\nInevitably - someone will say cards\n
  2. When they get to cards - walk them through a typical card game:\n1) Dealt a hand\n2) Discard things that you don’t want\n3) Pick up cards that you do want\nwith the ultimate goal of building the strongest hand....\n\n
  3. Introduce that today just like in cards - we will be discarding some vocabulary that we do not like, and picking up some that we do - so that we can build the strongest school that we can!\n
  4. You will be given 12 cards for students to find, when they do, move to the next slide\n
  5. Your goal is to have students identify which column each word belongs in - and after that - finding the appropriate match. This is where the discussion occurs about why we need to replace the lingo here at school!\n
  6. One last review with the students.\nI will provide the Go-Get-It cards and a handout.\n
