This document describes a 3-level certification program for project managers to learn about and apply user experience (UX) principles.
The introductory level involves a 1-3 week course to promote including UX approaches in design projects. The intermediate level is a 3-4 month program to set up and support UX approaches during projects. The advanced level is a 4-6 month program to lead UX strategies integrating customer experience and performance metrics. Each level involves theoretical and practical training with real-world project experience and examinations.

Agenda (8 hours) :
Theoretical session 1 Understand UX
Theoretical session 2 When UX happens in a project
Immersion session Illustration of the UX approach, focus group
observation and live user tests, heatmaps (eye tracking)
Practical session Orally advocate adopting the approach / use cases and
role-plays
Examination and certification (2 hours) :
Evaluation MCQ (multiple choice questions)

Sessions 1 to 5 UX project approach, Focus on UX functions, UX project
management
Practical training in the field (2 months minimum)
Real customer project suggested by the participant as part of his/her job
(potentially a few months later)
Coaching Meetings twice a month (by phone or via email)
Examination and certification (2 hours)
Oral examination in front of certification committee (1 hour)

Duration 4 to 6 months
Prerequisite UXPMO 2 + 2 to 3 years professional experience
Agenda (20 hours)
Sessions 1 to 5 Tackle projects from a strategic perspective, Criteria:
company maturity level, mastering the tools, supervising “VoM,-VoC,-VoB”
programs, setting up UX KPIs, etc.
Practical training in the field (3 months minimum)
Real customer project suggested by the participant as part of its job
(potentially a
few months later)
