1. Video Brief
Overview
We will require a video solution where employers can request candidates answer selected questions
by recording a video answer which the employer can view.
The process
Employers will select from pre-set questions or create their own questions like with screening
questions. These questions will make up the video interview.
The employer does not
record any video. They will send a request for selected candidates to attend a video interview.
2. The candidates will receive the request through the platform which will take the candidate to a web
page where their webcam will be tested automatically. After the candidate is happy with the test
they will launch the video interview. This will present the candidate with the question (in text) and a
countdown will start before the webcam will automatically record their response. They will have a
limited time to record the answer before the system will move automatically to the next question.
They will have only one chance to record the answer, as they would in a real interview.
Once complete the candidate can preview their interview but cannot alter any of their responses.
When a candidate has answered the video interview when the employer will have access to an
additional tab when viewing applicant called “video interview”
This will open a page where they can play through the entire video interview response or view
specific questions. The employer can view the interview as many times as they like.
