Borobudur is the biggest
Buddhist temple in the 9th century
measuring 123x123 m2 located in
Magelang, Central Java. It was build
by King Samaratungga, one of the
King of ancient Mataram Kingdom,
the descendant of Sailendra
dynasty.

terraces. The first five terraces
are square and the upper three are
circle. This temple has 1460 relief
panels, 504 Buddha effigies, and 73
stupa. One of them is a large stupa
