menentukan pendekatan kita dalam
penyelesaian masalah dan cara melakukan
pekerjaan kita.
Contoh bagaimana perbedaan model
      mental mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku

Mengapa kita perlu belajar tentang
        Model Mental?

• Visi dunia yang berkelanjutan yang ingin diwujudkan (dibuat melalui
proses back-casting) melampaui realitas yang ada saat ini.

• Untuk mampu membayangkan, memahami, mengadopsi dan
mempromosikannya dibutuhkan cara pandang tertentu tentang
bagaimana dunia seharusnya diatur.

• Sistem ekonomi, politik dan sosial yang berjalan sekarang belum tentu
(kemungkinan malah tidak) mendukung tercapainya visi tersebut.
Perlu perubahan cara pandang untuk menghasilkan perubahan sistem
yang radikal – leapfrogging dari kondisi sekarang ke visi masa depan.
