2. Step 1 – Creating the application
1. Browse to play.google.com/apps/publish*
2. Click “Add new application”
3. Select the default language
4. Give a unique title to the application
5. Click "Upload APK“
*A developer account is required to publish an application

5. Step 3 – Store Listing
1. Add at least 2 screenshots for the app
showcase, one adapted for
smartphones, another adapted to
tablets. The image formats must be
JPEG or 24-bit PNG with a length
between 320 and 3840 pixels.
2. Add a high-resolution icon (512 per
512 pixels with a 32-bit PNG format,
with alpha channel)
3. Add a feature graphic with dimensions
of 1024 per 500 pixels with a JPG/24-
bit PNG (no alpha)

1. Set the application type (Games)
2. Set the category (Racing)
3. Set the content rating (Everyone)

enter the privacy policy URL's, but in
this example, there isn't a privacy
policy (checkbox ticketed)

7. Step 4 – Publishing the application
1. Click the button “Publish app” or, in this
case, “Republish app” to submit it into
the Google Store
The first submission will take approximately 3 hours
to take effect
2. Preview the published application on
Google Store, install and test it on a
smartphone or tablet
