SECTION 1: SUMMARY OF YOUR IDEA

Q1B. What problem / challenge are you addressing with this proposition?
Q1A: Whatconstantly looking for ways to spend more time with families and pursue their interests and
People are is your proposition?
Successful companiesbefore the Coca retirement Google65. So far no companies have specifically
enjoy early retirement like KFC, legal Cola, and age of are all common because they all have an
original recipe but also developed a demand over the years in a new field. Even with the help of
addressed these issues.
modern technologies, no traders had produced constant return of 20% per annum for a period of 50
years, Most people are reluctant to invest for a better future. I therefore have been searching and
finally developed an equity bond which is directly linked to 20 NYSE-listed stocks which has produced
superior returns since 1957. For example, if one can invest £1,000 per month, according to my
calculation and past performance, one could make a return of £100,000 in 55 months or 4.5 years,
which would be more than enough for someone who wants to retire in places like Malaysia or the
Caribbean. I also suggest that this venture should be done in a separate division and perhaps under
Capita Group.

Q1C. How big is the market for this / who is the customer?
The market is equivalent to the working population of the UK.

Q1D. Who would be the current competition?
Corporate pension funds and open-ended investment companies (OEIC).

                                  PLEASE ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS

SECTION 2: KEY FACTORS FOR SUCCESS

Q2A. WHAT’S UNIQUE ABOUT THIS PROPOSSITION? WHAT’S ITS USP?
The stock portfolio that I have developed generates an average of 23.9% annual return since 1957. Its
USP is “Can’t Wait Nomore!” This product also allows investors to stay in the job as long as they feel
comfortable to leave.

Q2B. WHAT ARE THE BEST ROUTES TO MARKET? WHAT WOULD BE YOUR SALES
APPROACH?
Capita Hartshead currently manages £2 billion of client’s pension funds including teacher’s pension
and civil servants pensions and with 3 million members. It would be a great opportunity to utilise this
channel and market our savings plan.

Q2C. WHAT ARE THE BARRIERS TO ENTRY TO THIS MARKET, AND HOW WILL YOU
OVERCOME THEM?
The barriers would be to set up an open ended investment fund and go through the FSA investment
management firm registration and finally to establish trust among investors.

Both Capita Hartshead and Capita Financial could assit us in fund administration, creating prospectus
to satisfy the FSA requirements.

                                       SECTION 3: KEY RISKS

3A: WHAT ARE THE KEY RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROPOSITION?

    2. Website development (SEO, shopping cart, database design) £1,000
    3. Website support – assumed to share existing Firstpoint support
    4. Online payment company charge £30 per month, 1.24% credit card
    5. Office rent – assumed to share existing Capita offices
    6. Stationary - assumed to share existing Capita inventory
    7. Staff - assumed to share existing Capita Financial human resources plus an additional of 15
        general staff at £25,000 each.
   8. FSA application fee - £2,000
The total funding required is £386,000 for the first year.

It is also a chance for Capita Group to develop into the financial services industry. Although this
proposition does not correlate to the core business of Capita Symonds, it does have a tremendous
potential to generate a great income for Capita Group. This is probably the first early retirement product
being marketed in the world. A similar American company called Financial Engines also does similar
things in the US, however they are only providing investment advises to the client. This eventually
requires the client to purchase financial instruments on their own. With the current climate, it is
important for Capita Symonds to evolve and tap into this highly demand market with little to no
competition exist in the market.
