4. Deployment in single Laptop / Desktop You have a single Laptop. You want to take Data backup on External USB Hard Disk through StoreGrid ? How do you configure StoreGrid ?

5. Installation & Configuration Step 1 : install StoreGrid as a Windows service. Here define to start Storegrid service as Local system account . Step 2 : install as “Client and Server” and click next . Step 3 : By default StoreGrid takes the machine name as Identity and “Default Group” as Group name. Keep it as it is. Step 4 : Continue with the wizard and finish the installation. Step 5 : Change “StoreGrid Server’s Backup Storage Location as “G: and click next. (Here “G” is External HDD Drive) Done now you can create schedule for Backup from “ Backup ->Add Backup Schedule” option. Step 6 : Now configure Schedules as per requirement.
