5. Camera Work Handheld Head-cam- used throughout the documentary showing footage when the camera was ‘undercover’. In addition to this all the ‘live’ footage is a point of view shot. Interviews- frame to the left or right of the screen, medium close up or close up. Zoom on pictures of the people within the care home. Over the shoulder shots are used within the interviews and when people are watching the footage this is effective via you being the same position as the person on the screen. Master shot is used to establish the location, e.g the care home.

6. Mise-en-scene Casual clothing, via the footage being live, there is no clear difference between the outfits of patients and nurses/careworkers. Clear differences between the the standard of footage, within the care home the footage is very dull and the camera is not of a good standard however outside of the carehome the colour is bright.

7. Sound Voice Over- swaps between the person actually behind the camera and an actual voice over. The actual voice-over is male, does not have an opinion either way, is not bias. Background music, to set the scene and emphasise the content.

8. Editing Clips of Live footage is shown throughout the documentary- therefore only the more appalling parts have been shown. In some interviews the interviewee does not keep to the corner and is centre, this could be thought of as bad editing.

9. Archive Material Undercover footage from the nursing home. Pictures of the people involved Interviews Archive material was used all the way through including constructing the mise-en-scene for interviews.

10. Graphics Zooming in and out on pictures. Series Logo Names of the people being interviewed in bold in the bottom corner of the screen.- Times New Roman.
