2. Brush Tool The Brush Tool draws brush like strokes, as if you were painting.
3. Brush Tool options/Modifiers Fill color- color of the brush Brush Size Brush Shape Lock Fill –allows you to apply a gradient or bitmap fill consistently across multiple items.
4. Brush Modes Paint Normal –used to paint the fill color anywhere you move the Brush tool with the mouse button pressed. Paint Fills –used to paint only fill colors.
5. Brush Modes Paint Behind –use this option if you only want to paint an area underneath artwork already placed on the stage. Paint Selection –this option allows the Brush tool to paint only areas that have been selected.
6. Brush Modes Paint Inside –this allows the brush to paint only in the interior section of the artwork.
7. Using the Brush tool Select the Brush tool Click the Brush Mode modifier and choose a painting mode. Choose a brush size and shape. Drag on the Stage use Shift-grad to constrain brush strokes to horizontal and vertical directions.
