  1. Good morning everyone! My name is Whitney Townsend, and I would like to thank you all for coming today and giving me the opportunity to share a vision of innovative liaison services in an academic health sciences center. As I was preparing for this presentation, I thought a lot about why innovation is important in libraries, and in the Health Sciences. I was immediately reminded of a chapter in a book I recently read by Atul Gawande
