• The methods of education are closely related
each other, but at the same time each of them is
separated from the rest.
• In didactic and pedagogical literature, there are
many attempts to classify teaching methods, but
there isn't any widely accepted, accessible and
comprehensive taxonomy yet.
4. Groups of methods
1.Verbal (narrative, talk, etc..)
2.Visual (observation, demonstration, etc..)
3.Practical (exercises, workshops, etc.)
Lerner determined six different methods:
1) explanatory illustrations or information receptive
2) reproductive
3) problem facing
4) partial-research or heuristic
5) research
6) a method for stimulating the needs and motives
of emotional value to the students.

• Marin Andreev is a prominent
Bulgarian scientist working in the
field of Pedagogy.
