PROJECT ABSTRACT
Broken Beatz Entertainment is seeking to partner with commercial companies to
expand the “Next Stop On Top” talent search contest with the goal of creating a
popular hip hop record. The objective is that by the end of the contest artist will
recognize the Broken Beatz Entertainment as a powerhouse for good music and the
audience of both the selected artist and our partners will increase on a measurable,
and profitable, scale. Funding in the amount of $9500 is requested for travel and
lodging expenses, video production, marketing and advertisement. Sponsors will be
allowed certain privileges when it comes to the size of association they wish to
adhere to.




 STATEMENT OF NEED
Broken Beatz Entertainment is prepared to launch a branded advertising campaign
that will reach an audience of approximately 1.2 million.         The Broken Beatz
Entertainment website boasts a monthly audience of 70k listeners per month and has
partnered with various hip hop websites and blogs to advertise and promote the
selected beats and the contest. The grand prize of the “Next Stop On Top” will
receive an expense paid trip to Austin, TX where the song will professionally recorded
with Broken Beatz Entertainment producer NBanks. A video shoot is also planned as
well as a headlining showcase at a popular downtown Austin, TX location.
Preparations are being made to create top-of-the-line events, processes and
promotional products, including but not limited the creation of viral videos that will
be positioned on hip hop centered magazines, sites and blogs.

BUDGET
The “Next Stop On Top” budget is based on the fact that the hip hop community is
constantly in search of the next, newest most innovative product, sound and trend,
therefore it is necessary to create and promote using methods that align
themselves with avid consumers of hip hop.

We are dependent on the marketing structure of the fast moving internet-savvy, tech-loving hip hop
consumer, where the demographic has grown to not only recognize good music, but seek it out using a
series of well-publicized portals, hashtags and search engines. The connectivity of the community that
the Broken Beatz Entertainment brand is trying to create has already been tested and deemed lucrative,
mix that with the culture of the contestants and this event will be a sure success. We believe that with
the adjusted marketing plan the diversity of the contestants will vary greatly, we’d like to supplying our
partners and sponsors the opportunity to communicate with approximately 1.2 million people.
