Q.3. Use K-means algorithm to create 3 clusters for the given set of values:
{2,3,6,8,9,12,15,18,22}.
Q.4. An University database contains information about professors (identified by a
social security number) and courses (Identified by a course ID). Each of the following
situations concerns the relationship between the teacher and the student. Draw an
ER diagram for each situation (assuming that no further constraints hold).
1. Professors can teach the same course over several semesters and each
offering must be recorded.
2. Each Professor teaches only one course.
3. Each professor teaches at least one course and some professors may teach
multiple courses.
4. Each professor teaches at least one course and some professors must teach
all the courses.

loan payment. All transactions must include the amount, date and time. Draw
the bank schema and EER diagram. State any assumptions you make about
any additional requirements.
Q. 6. Describe the necessity of data pre-processing and explain various techniques
and issues in data pre-processing.
Q. 7. Write notes on the following:
1. Similarity measures
2. Dendrograms
3. Genetic algorithm
