This document is a student project about Thanksgiving traditions in various countries such as the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, and Norfolk Island. It provides details on the origins of Thanksgiving in the US and describes common Thanksgiving meals. It also explains that Thanksgiving is celebrated on different dates and for similar reasons in other places to give thanks at the harvest close. The student concludes that researching this topic helped them learn more about these cultural traditions.

Thanksgiving" was celebrated to give thanks to God for guiding

Thanksgiving is celebrated on the last Wednesday of November, similar to the
pre-World War II American observance on the last Thursday of the month.

Thanksgiving Day, currently celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November in
1941, has been an annual tradition in the United.
