Several of my paychecks have bounced, a total of over $8,700. I have filed a gri
ievance with my state's department of labor. They have promised to investigate,
and place a garnishment on my employer's bank account. (I choose this instead of
small claims court because it has a $5,000 maximum award, but the department of
