7. Role of Women
The role of women was changing after World War II. Men still expected her to do
work around the house and with the family, like raising kids and cleaning, while
having a job OUTSIDE of the house as well, like being a teacher, nurse, or
secretary.
8. African-Americans fought for more equal opportunities after World War II. We are
studying the Civil Rights Movement next.
