SURF is the Netherlands higher education and research partnership organization responsible for network services and ICT. Its mission is to develop and improve a common advanced ICT infrastructure to enable higher education institutions to advance learning, teaching, and research. SURF serves over 500,000 higher education students across 14 universities, 40 universities of applied sciences, and several research institutes in the Netherlands.
