- 2. why? My sister Cousin Me As of 2010, 300 million people were affected worldwide. In 2009, asthma caused 250,000 deaths globally.
- 3. Respiratory System The respiratory system is the operator of the whole body. The lungs take in: the nose inhales O2 and exhales CO2. This makes our body pump blood and nutrients all over the body and brain and function properly.
- 4. what is asthma? Is an in๏ฌammatory disorder of the airways, which causes attacks of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing. This affects the Respiratory system.
- 5. types of asthma Exercise induced Asthma Airway narrowing peaks five to 20 minutes after exercise begins, making it difficult to catch your breath. Allergies and Asthma With allergic rhinitis, you may feel a constant runny nose, ongoing sneezing, swollen nasal passages, excess mucus, weepy eyes, and a scratchy throat. - 10. affecting the body The body is affected with Asthma by: the circulatory system not functioning properly and the natural pumping of the heart would decrease because there is not much O2 passing in and the circulation is affected. not enough O2 is delivered (sometimes) to the brain and body which causes serious damage to the body and brain and sometimes may cause death (Asthma attack). Asthma Attack - when your not able to breathe, and you have a airway in๏ฌammation.
- 11. Treatments and cures Asthma can be treated by medicines and treatments, and we can control the airway in๏ฌammation, but over all asthma canโt be cured. Medicines and Inhalers are given to reduce the symptoms and ease the irritation. No cure.
- 12. Current Research asthma on the rise theories: more cleaners and disinfecting sprays and etc. are maybe causing the kids at a young age to have asthma. more smokers in the present and future (maybe) than the past. drugs related also. no cures found yet.
