2. Introduction
A lot of dogs are in movies, T.V. shows, and
plays. I thought dogs in show business was an
interesting topic, and it was something I wanted
to research and find more about. Dogs aren’t
always the easiest to work with. I know that
because I have a dog myself. They can bark a lot,
not follow the rules, and be crazy. But dogs in
show business would be so hard for the dog and
the trainers. I did some research to learn and
teach you about it.
3. Dogs in show business
Dogs in show business is a very common
thing. They make the whole audience
awwww and probably gets them distracted
for they rest of the program. All they most
likely do is pay attention to the dog. I’m not
saying this is what the audience does, I’m just
saying that’s what they most likely do. Now
don’t get me wrong, dogs in the program your
watching is so cool! Let me tell you a little
more about it.
4. Trainers
• Q-Do the trainers give them cues while they are
performing?
• A-Most of the time they do.
• Q-Do they have to be trained well?
• A-Yes, if they are not then they couldn’t be in the
show, play, etc. Or they would have to get trained
well
• Q-How long does it take for the dogs to learn their
material (what they are performing)?
• A-It depends on how well trained the dogs
already are, and how many things they are
performing.
5. Owners
• Q-Do the owners get a lot of money?
• A-You can get up to $125 per week.
• Q-Do they become really famous?
• A-It all depends on how famous the dog gets.
• Q-Are they taken away from them for a long
period of time?
• A-You can leave the dog there or pick it up every
once in a while. It all depends on what part your
dog has
6. Conclusion
Overall I think dogs should be in show
business. Dogs can make the show a lot
more interesting and add a lot more
character to the show. It’s also a great
opportunity for the owners to get famous if
they don’t really want to do anything to
become famous (except for training them,
but a trainer could do that).
