2. Installation Prerequisites
• Hardware: Hosted.
• Web Server: Apache 2.0.40 or above.
• Database: MySQL version 4.1.x through
5.1.x.

3. Installation On Server
• Copy & Paste your Vtiger CRM file in your
webserver path
• After pasting Vtiger CRM file, you'll need to extract
the source file in your apache web root directory.
• After extracting, you'll need to provide permissions
for that file. To give permissions, use the following
commands
– chmod -R 775 vtigercrm
– chown -R <apache_user>:<apache_group> vtigercrm
4. Installation On Server
• Now, open your browser and access your Vtiger by
using your IP address.
– For instance, http://localhost/vtigercrm

• Please provide Mysql credentials of your server under Database
Information block. Also, configure default currency and personal
information through System Information and Admin User
Information blocks respectively. After providing appropriate values,
click Next.
