Jomell Thomas Has Led A
Cheerleaders Squad At The
University of Connecticut
Jomell Thomas was a cheerleader at the
University of Connecticut. He has all the qualities
and characteristics, which make him an effective
leader, as well as a role model for many others.
Many of the times, Jomell has led his squad to
learn and perform cheers. He says that to be an
impressive leader, an individual should instruct
others without becoming rude or bossy.
He is a strong decision maker, so it was easy for
him to select cheers whenever he had to do so.
As a leading cheerleader, he was responsible for
keeping an excellent relationship between his
fellow cheerleaders, and never showed favoritism.
Jomell used to show very positive attitude in the
squad and motivated his fellow cheerleaders to
contribute to the constructive atmosphere.
Jomell Thomas says that it is essential for a
cheerleader to keep a smile on his or her face and
find pleasing words to say to other people around
him or her. Whenever, he or his team received
criticism, he would always encourage his team
members by saying something positive. He never
used inappropriate and rude language with other
people. He always spoke to his coach and
teachers in a respectful manner and used to
present himself in a creditable manner. He never
missed a chance to help others inside as well as
outside the team.
As a cheerleader, Jomell and his team was
responsible for getting the rest of the college
thrilled about the forthcoming games and building
support for sports teams. As a team leader, he
had to build marvelous spirit in his fellow
cheerleaders in order that they were able to pass
it along to other individuals.
Jomell Thomas used to encourage all the
cheerleaders to wear their selected colors or
uniform on game days and would ask other
students to do the same, as well. He would prefer
starting every practice with his university's fight or
cheer song, so as to get everyone in the mood to
work hard. He has received huge appreciation as
a cheerleader at the University.
