18. BU Good Samaritan Policy If a student calls 911 or campus police (ext. 2000) for medical attention for another student because of severe alcohol intoxication, overdose, or physical injury then the individual initiating the call will not be subject to disciplinary proceedings through the University Judicial System. Please remember that alcohol poisoning can be fatal. Bradley University has lost several students to alcohol-related fatalities in the last decade. You can help prevent further injuries and deaths with timely action.
19. Neighbors Consider meeting your neighbors at the beginning of the year and discussing issues such as their families, your interest, noise, hours of activity, and general respect issues. Understand the expectations of members of the community. Establishing a good rapport with your neighbors may also lend you some goodwill within the community. Many problems can be avoided through simple candid conversation. Talk to your neighbors, get to know your neighbors, and understand where they are coming from.
