4. The Benefits of Franchising
Franchising is a wonderful way to go into business for yourself - without being by yourself. You don’t
have to be an expert at franchising or have industry experience. Because your growth affects the
growth of the franchisor, you’ll find a team of dedicated professionals willing and able to support you
every step of the way.
With a franchise, you are awarded a package – product or service, brand name and trademarks,
marketing and advertising, operations manuals and proven systems – along with thorough
training in every aspect of the business.
For that reason, Franchises are usually more successful. Only 2% to 4% of
franchisees of a proven franchise concept fail, whereas 65% of new
businesses fail within the first three years of operation*. This
access to proven business procedures allows a franchisee
to open quicker, experience success sooner,
develop a customer base faster, have less
risk and be more profitable.
America invented the concept of franchising. This
graph shows the significance of franchising to the
US Economy**.

5. The Staffing Industry
Today, staffing is one of the fastest growing industries
in the country. According to the U.S. Bureau of
Labor Statistics, the staffing industry is expected
to create more jobs than any other industry over
the next ten years. As you can see from this graph,
flexible staffing has grown rapidly during the past
16 years.*
*Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics
The staffing industry is taking an increasingly prominent role as a
“labor market intermediary” between employers and employees. Over
90% of U.S. businesses use staffing services.
For employers, staffing firms lower the costs of hiring by handling recruiting, screening, and
testing. For employees, staffing firms provide income, flexible work assignments, and a bridge
to permanent jobs.
Industrial staffing makes up a significant part of the staffing workforce. Data from the U. S. Bureau
of Labor Statistics showed that the industrial sector employs more than one million people—more
than 35% of all temporary and contract employees—making it the largest employer of the staffing
sectors.

• The decision to establish a set of core values that are the basis for decision making.
• A commitment to a strong Risk Management and Safety program.
• The development of the most thorough screening process in the segment of the staffing industry
that Link serves.
• An early decision to advance and continually improve technology to enhance effeciences
and support client needs.
• The decision to franchise a proven system and grow nationally.
• The decision to continually promote a strong relationship with the franchisees in the Link
