3. This is another photo which demonstrates the equipment used within the school. I chose this photo because it also suggests a maths subject and I think the image looks quite effective. This photo follows the rule of simplicity.

4. This photo associates with the school because of the blue plastic chairs. I chose this photo because I think it demonstrates foreground interest and it also features a pattern of chairs, there is also a balance between light and dark.

5. I chose this photo because it demonstrates another lesson (English) that the school teaches; these books are instantly recognizable to English students. I think this photo follows the rule of simplicity.

6. Building This photo gives a negative view of the school because of the eroded paint, however the pattern looks quite effective. This photo demonstrates simplicity and rule of thirds.

7. I chose this photo because it is associates with the sports area and R block. It demonstrates the rule of simplicity, balance and leading lines.

8. These corridors are very familiar with the students and staff within Cowes High hence the reason why I chose this. I think this is a positive picture because the floor is tidy and there is a lot of open space. This image demonstrates leading lines and framing.

9. This photo shows a crack in the wall demonstrating that the school is old and worn. I chose this photo because it suggests that the school needs improvement and it’s in a wear and tear situation. I think this photo is balance and simple.

10. Field I chose this image because it associates with the field that most people can relate to. I think this image demonstrates the rule of thirds, simplicity and focal point.

11. I chose this image because again, I think it links very well with the field theme and also demonstrates focal point and perspective, within the rules of composition.
