For some reason many of our leaders have some weird fixation with job-killing
“free trade” agreements that cater to the corporatists of society. We saw it with the
presidents of the past — Reagan, Clinton, and both of the Bushes. Now we’re beginning
to see it with our current President, Barack Obama. President Obama’s apparent love
with “free trade” is a bit odd considering that fact that, before becoming president, he
was opposed to “free trade” agreements such as CAFTA and NAFTA. In fact, he claimed
as a Senator that “free trade” is bad for America! Then he became president and
suddenly his true feelings were revealed.
He sees nothing wrong with “free trade,” despite the fact that it results in skyrocketing trade deficits, soaring national debt, job losses and outsourcing. He’s even
implemented the Korean – U.S. “free trade” agreement since becoming our
Commander-In-Chief and has aspirations of a one-world economic system he
hopes to bring to fruition through the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the
Transatlantic Free Trade Area (TAFTA), often referred to as the Transatlantic
Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).
The public should be up in arms about these two pet projects of President Obama — the
TPP and TAFTA/TTIP — because they will not only override American laws, but we

2. won’t be allowed to enforce laws and regulations that get in the way of greedy
corporations and the special privileges that will be given to them under the TPP and
TAFTA/TTIP.
President Obama is keeping any and all details surrounding the so-called “free trade”
agreements a secret from those who elected him because he know’s how unpopular
they would be if we ever found out the details!
Even more disconcerting is that the TPP and TAFTA/TTIP aren’t even really “free
trade” agreements so much as they are partnerships between greedy corporations and
their puppets in government.
The two partnerships feature “investor-state” dispute resolution, which will effectively
allow mega corporations to sue governments for actions that they just don’t like, such
as health and safety regulations. By allowing these provisions, President Obama is
elevating corporations to the level of nation states and allowing them to sue
governments over nearly any law or policy which risks reducing their future
profits.
Other provisions in President Obama’s two partnerships will set rules dictating to

Also with the passage of the TPP and TAFTA/TTIP President Obama will willing sign
away our U.S. sovereignty. These two partnerships will combine to become a new
global system of trade where corporations, not individual governments, are in charge.
They will result in even higher trade deficits and will send even more jobs, factories
and industries out of the country while simultaneously further increasing income and
wealth inequality! President Obama is going to allow all of this and more.
