5. Emergency Medicine
We understand the challenges associated with staffing and managing an ED.
We utilize a team of dedicated, full-time physician recruiters focused on recruit-
ing quality physician candidates that fit the needs and culture of your hospital.
Your account will be assigned one dedicated full time, in-house scheduler and a
credentialer. In addition, ESS utilizes proprietary risk management tools, effec-
tive training in E&M coding, and appropriate down-time documentation
to ensure accurate cost-report reimbursements.
Hospitalist Medicine
A growing number of hospitals – especially facilities in both suburban and
rural communities – embrace our hospitalist program as a significant tool
for improving patient care, increased admissions, profitability and operating
efficiency. ESS-Hospitalist management and staff possess decades of
experience and we’ve developed programs to fit individual hospital’s needs.
ESS Hybrid Program
Our hybrid program enables lower volume facilities to afford Hospitalist
programs. The goal of this program is to appropriately train the ER physician
to be utilized as an inpatient manager during off-peak ED hours. This
significantly reduces the financial burden on the hospital, while supporting
an increase in the inpatient census. By providing support for the local
primary care physicians and utilizing the ED physicians as Hospitalists,
smaller facilities will see a reduction in unnecessary transfers.
