● How people will react
● About your appearance
● Stream without expectation

3. Don't Worry about How You Look
● Don't look at yourself
● Don't focus on the camera
● Block your face if you have to
● Find your good side and stick with it
● Unless you're a celebrity no one is
scrutinizing your appearance

4. Subscriber Count Means Nothing
● The subscriber count always starts at zero
but doesn't stay there
● Your initial subscriber count will be low at
first but create high value regardless
● You can always save the vid for others to
view later
● Your subscriber count will grow the more
you stream.

5. Make it Like a Conversation
● Ask for questions early and often
● Ask popular questions to spur the convo
o Where are you from?
o What do you do?
● Pause and wait for people to comment...cuz
they will.

6. Include Your Mistakes
● It's what makes the live experience special
● Makes you more authentic
● Makes you relatable
● Expect it not to be perfect

7. Don’t Analyze Your Videos
● Don't watch the video after it's done
● Don't think about your mistakes afterwards
● Don't think about how many tuned in
● Think about your next video and how you
make the next one even better

8. Grab a Buddy
● Bring in a friend to help with your first live
stream
● Get someone to interview you
● Interview someone on their skillset
● Make sure you have a buddy or two on the
stream to spur on the conversation

9. Add Ons
● Be in a unique atmosphere/setting
● Throw in some tunes
● Share the fam/kids
● Pets should always be welcome

10. Extra De-frigthenting Tips
● Eat chocolate
● Blow on your thumb
● Think of something/someone that makes you
very happy or emotional
● Take a little drink
● Deep breathing exercises
