4. 1. Brief Survey We have to know who the techies and portfolio experts are in our class.Take 2 minutes and turn & talk. Do you have any experience creating a website? Have you used a wiki before? Which course management systems (CMS) are you familiar with (e.g., Classweb, Moodle, Blackboard)? Have you ever created a portfolio? Have you ever used one with your students?

Choose 2 out of the 7 links and browse a couple of minutes and answer the following: What are the different types of portfolios and what purposes are they used for? How will the content of your portfolio differ from a portfolio you would use in your language class? What are some general guidelines for creating a portfolio?
