16. It all started when I was a senior in high school. Senior year is suppose to be the most fun. Then something that changed my life drastically happened. Some girl posted a notes in the bathroom calling me names. If others had to go through it, they would just forget about it, but it was not the case for me. It changed my life.

17. For days I couldn’t get out of bed. I was just so humiliated. I could not go to school and avoided all the worrying calls that my friends made. I didn’t know it was a disorder. I had no idea how it could affect my life. My family even thought it was a phase I am going through. But more and more I felt my life changing…

18. Because I wasn’t aware of this disorder, it was effecting me more. I lost my appetite. I lost my friends. I couldn’t get out of bed. I also didn’t do anything. I just stayed in my room just thinking about how my life is useless. Like I said before, I had no idea it was depression.

19. My mom got so worried that she decided to send me to see a therapist. I went to the therapist and found out that I have major depression disorder. I didn’t know what to do at first and asked him what I had to do to change my life. He put me on anti-depressant and told me to keep up with it. Though I was willing to improve, I abused the pills.

20. I began to take the pills uncontrollably. I felt better when I did. When they wore out, I was more miserable than before. When I thought they are suppose to make me feel better about myself, I began to feel more bad because I overdosed the pills.

21. Now that I know that what this has done I have been working to make things better. I try to spend more time with my family. Go for a walk with my dog. I has helped me. I am not cured entirely. I still get urge for suicidal thoughts but I tried to think positive.
