EyesWeb The EyesWeb research project aims at exploring and developing models of interaction by extending music language toward gesture and visual languages, with a particular focus on the understanding of affect and expressive content in gesture . EyesWeb has been designed with a special focus on the analysis and processing of expressive gesture in movement,  midi, audio, and music signals. It was the basic platform of the EU-IST Project MEGA and it has been employed in many artistic performances and interactive installations. However, use of EyesWeb is not limited to performing arts. Museum installations, entertainment, edutainment, therapy and rehabilitation are just some of a wide number of different application domains that can benefit of using it. For example, EyesWeb has been adopted as standard in other EU IST projects such as MEDIATE and CARE HERE in the therapy and rehabilitation field, and EU TMR MOSART. In the EU Sixth Framework Program it has been adopted as standard in the IST TAI-CHI project and it is employed in the HUMAINE and ENACTIVE Networks of Excellence. EyesWeb users include universities, public and private research centers, companies, and private users. EyesWeb consists of a number of integrated hardware and software modules which can be easily interconnected and extended. The EyesWeb software includes a development environment and a set of libraries of reusable software components (blocks) which can be assembled by the user in a visual language to build patches as in common computer music languages inspired to analog synthesizers. A patch can be used as a module in a higher-level patch.

TOUCH-SCREEN
This is simply a thin sensitive layer that can be placed in front of the monitor to transform it into a touch-screen monitor!! 240 – 470 euro
SENSORS
This device can sense faint muscolar movements and transform them into electrical signals. The sensor is embedded into a velcro bandage which permits the system to be placed around the head or around the arm. It’s possible to configure the sensor’s sensitivity and the activation threshold The LEAF sensor is composed by a thin metallic shaft with a rigid end covered by a disk made of sponge (which is used to increase the activation surface) When a person applies a force to device’s end, the shaft slightly flex itself. This sensor is suggested only for people able to perform fine head movements. 130 euro. This sensor can be activated puffing or sucking. The most used sensor: a simple colored big button 60 euro.
Small sensor for people with good motor abilities. It can be activated pressing on its surface. It can provide tactile or sound feedback 55 euro. This sensor is activated through the movement (in every direction) of its gummy end. It’s suggest for people with weak or uncontrolled motor abilities 140 euro. This sensor is activated grasping and pressing its soft surface. 130 euro Mercury sensor. It can be used varying the position of 5 degrees in respect to the horizontal position. It’s suitable to be fixed to person’s head or hand 70 euro.
Sound sensor It uses a small microphone to sense sounds. The emitted sounds can vary from loud sounds to faint sounds. Sounds can come from the mouth or the nose. The microphone can be placed in contact with user’s neck or in front of the mouth. System sensitivity is completely configurable. IR sensor It’s composed by an emitter/detector of IR signals and an electronic circuit. It’s sensible to the movement of every reflective object near the emitter/detector. It can sense lashes movements too. The emitter is designed to be mounted on glasses’ frame. 385 euro. + This switch is equipped with a cord which can be hooked to the hand or to a finger and can be activated simply pulling the cord
It’s able to reveal the level of humidity. This feature makes possible for the user to interact with the system with the tongue
